Catalyst House, Inc. Elects New Director and BarterCardUSA Acquires an Equity Partner Position in ADMAX, LLC. Nov. 10, 2003
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Catalyst House, Inc., announced today that Mark Savoy, Chairman of BartercardUSA ("BUSA"), has been elected to the company's Board of Directors. Savoy immediately assumes the role of Director and BUSA acquires an equity partner position in ADMAX, LLC.

"I am excited about merging the barter concept with the innovative ADMAX advertising plan, especially in this economy, where ad dollars are tight, ADMAX gives businesses a cutting edge on the competition while trimming costs," said Mark Savoy. "This is exactly the winning combination businesses need right now," Savoy said.

"We are thrilled to be partnered up with the biggest and best barter company in the world which promises to empower the ADMAX and Catalyst business models," said Lynnea Bylund, Chairwoman of Catalyst House, Inc., and ADMAX, LLC.

"Savoy brings nearly 20 years of experience in the alternative finance arena," Bylund said. "While working as a real estate developer, he recognized the benefits of trade/barter for his business endeavors. Realizing the power of this growth industry and the vast untapped market, he decided to focus his energies full time on alternative forms of finance, and it was not long before he headed up retail exchanges as well as corporate barter companies," she said.

Savoy served as senior vice president of ABS Worldwide, one of the world's largest barter organizations. Prior to this prestigious post, Savoy served as president of the World Trade Consortium, an international barter organization. Savoy is a well-respected member of the International Reciprocal Trade Association (IRTA) and has been asked to speak and facilitate workshops at several annual meetings. Additionally, he served on the board of the Corporate Barter Council (CBC), which was comprised of the six largest alternative finance companies in the world. Currently, Savoy is CEO of exchangemall.com and is responsible for the acquisition of First National Information Network (FNIN), a multi-million dollar teleservices company. Savoy also serves as CEO of Millennium Exchange and is responsible for the acquisition of 80 percent of the licensing rights of Bartercard USA from Bartercard International, the world's largest trade and barter company. Bartercard International is currently facilitating over 1.2 billion dollars worth of trade each year and has over 50 million dollars in earnings in 2002.
